The BelToll system has replaced the manual collection of fares and is a modern and reliable solution in this area. The system operates on the basis of microwave radio communications over short distances, which charges the fare automatically when the vehicle passes under the toll stations. The principle of operation of the electronic payment system is as follows: above the road, special portals are installed; they are located on the hauls between traffic intersections, which almost completely eliminates the possibility of travel bypassing the portal.
