Flight training and drone football: how schoolchildren are mastering aviation

The "Young Pilot" summer school for 7–11 grades students have launched at Belarusian State Aviation Academy as part of the "Aviation Holidays at BSAA" project. Over the course of two weeks, 16 students from various schools and gymnasiums are immersing themselves in the world of aviation.

The program is packed with activities: lectures on wing mechanization, aerodynamics, and the layout of aircraft and aero-engines; tours of Minsk National Airport and the academy’s hangar; and sessions on VR simulators. There is also drone football and flight simulator piloting.
