A full-scale exercise to rescue the crew of an aircraft in distress took place at Orsha airdrome

The procedures were practiced on an Il-76 aircraft, simulating the actual conditions of an aviation incident.
During the exercises, the following was carried out:
▪️ rehearsal for coordinated action by responding agencies during an emergency landing
▪️ laying a foam carpet on the runway
▪️ extinguishing and suppressing a spilled fuel fire
▪️ evacuation and rescue of crew members
▪️ medical triage of casualties and transportation to health facilities
▪️ cordoning off the accident scene
◽️ The exercises involved an emergency rescue team, firefighting crews, and airfield services, as well as the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Health.
