With the entry into force of Presidential Decree No. 295 dated August 4, 2025, updated traffic regulations came into force in Belarus.
The main objective of the document is to regulate the use of personal mobility vehicles (PMV) and introduce a clear system for monitoring their technical parameters.
According to the Belarusian traffic regulations, a personal mobility vehicle is a vehicle for one person with an electric motor and any number of wheels, the maximum speed of which is electronically limited to 25 km/h.
If you purchased your vehicle before September 1, 2025, you must confirm its compliance with the new standards. This assessment is conducted in 25 certified laboratories, located in 16 cities across Belarus.
