Experimental projection lighting will appear on the R-83 highway "Brest - Kamenets - National Park “Belovezhskaya Pushcha"

A number of engineering and technical measures aimed at improving road safety, primarily for pedestrians, are being carried out on the national roads of Brest region.

Brestavtodor specialists are currently installing experimental lighting on the R-83 highway. Using innovative technology, lines and signs are projected onto the roadway using LED projectors. This creates a bright image, improving safety in adverse weather conditions and at night.

The region also plans to carry out this year:

  • major repairs to the R-104 "Zhabinka - Kobrin" section within the boundaries of Zaluz'e settlement (the project includes the installation of bus stops, lighting, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, and safety islands)
  • major repairs to the R-8 "Luninets - Pinsk" highway within the boundaries of Lunin settlement, including the installation of pedestrian crossings, bus stops, sidewalks, and the replacement of paving stones with new asphalt concrete pavement.
  • organization of lighting for a pedestrian crossing on the R-85 "Slonim - Vysokoe" highway in Khoreva agro-town

As a reminder, in June, a musical road was installed on the R-83 highway approaching the National Park “Belovezhskaya Pushcha” as part of a road safety program. Brest Region will systematically mark pedestrian crossings using cold-applied plastic, which will extend the lifespan of the markings.
