Minister of Transport and Communications Alexey Lyakhnovich made a working visit to Vitebsk and Minsk regions

In Tolochin district, the head of the transport department met with the staff of Road Maintenance Department No. 8 of RUE “Vitebskavtodor” as part of the Single Information Day "Memory for the Future."
Speaking with road workers, the Minister recalled the significance of June 22 for our country – National Remembrance Day for the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people.
The meeting at Road Maintenance Department No. 8 was held in an open dialogue format. The employees' questions focused primarily on road issues. They discussed key road reconstruction projects currently underway, plans for developing toll roads, and prospects for developing a network of charging stations along the country's major highways.
The Minister paid special attention to the company's business operations, social and economic development: he toured the road company's production facilities, repair shops, and visited the control center and employee break room. Road Maintenance Department No. 8 services approximately 149 kilometers of national highways.
The main task of the branch of RUE "Vitebskavtodor" is to ensure the proper operational condition of assigned road sections and the safety of vehicle movement on them.
The second item on the Minister’s work program is a visit to “Beldortekhnika” branch of JSC “Minsk Civil Aviation Plant No. 407”.
Alexey Lyakhnovich inspected the production facilities and learned the company's products.
