On the eve of Victory Day, the memory of road workers who made a significant contribution to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was honored near Minsk

Representatives of the Ministry of Transport, road management organizations, and veterans took part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the obelisk to road veterans in Zhukov Lug village.
Andrei Zolotarev, Head of the Main Directorate of Highways at the Ministry of Transport, congratulated his colleagues on the upcoming holiday and said: "It has long been a good tradition to gather here on the eve of the most significant and revered holiday in our country. The Belarusian people paid a very high price for their victory. And it would not have been possible without the heroic deeds of our grandfathers and great-grandfathers on the frontline and homefront. We are eternally indebted to those who won for us a peaceful sky above our heads."
The ceremonial rally was held as part of the national patriotic campaign "Belarus Remembers. We Remember Everyone."
