Belarusian road Scientific and Research Institute specialists are determining the load-bearing capacity of the overpass supports as part of the overpass overhaul project on the M-1 Brest-Minsk-Russian border highway

The testing method involves applying a test load to the structure's support pillars and determining the structure's settlement. This will determine the actual load-bearing capacity of the supports and determine whether they can be retained as part of the structure being repaired.
The test load per support column was approximately 150 tons. The vertical movement of the support columns was monitored remotely using high-precision electronic deflection meters.
