Today, Belarus celebrates Labor Day. Minister of Transport and Communications Alexei Lyakhnovich and Chairman of BelProfTrans Vladimir Fedorovich took part in the traditional flower-laying ceremony at "Minsk – Hero City" stele.
During the May 1st celebrations in Victory Park in Minsk, Alexey Lyakhnovich emphasized:
"This holiday unites representatives of various professions and generations of Belarusians and is a symbol of peace and national solidarity. Today, we are talking about how only through our daily, conscientious work and only by working together can we create a solid foundation for the further development and prosperity of our native Belarus. After all, we are building our future and the future of our children with our own hands, here and now – each in their own workplace."
On May Day, our country honors workers who have achieved significant results: enterprises, teams, veterans, and labor families. At Victory Park, the Minister visited exhibits at transport industry companies, spoke with workers, and wished them continued success, prosperity, and family harmony.
