The Ministry of Transport, led by its head, joined the national campaign "Forest! Good! Order!" The transport ministry's staff traditionally participates in large-scale forest restoration campaigns.
Not only transport industry employees, but also their children, are joining the marathon of good deeds. This spring, the campaign is dedicated to the five-year quality plan announced at the initiative of the Head of State. The emphasis is on restoring order to the land and improving forestry facilities.
"Love for one's native land, respect for nature, and a desire to preserve our national wealth and resources must be instilled in the younger generation from childhood," emphasized Minister of Transport and Communications Alexei Lyakhnovich.
This voluntary initiative is a significant contribution to the country's development and the well-being of the Belarusian people, the Minister of Transport noted.
◽️ On Volozhin Forestry property, employees of the Ministry of Transport and the Department of Aviation planted approximately 10,000 birch saplings over a 10-hectare area. Forestry workers had previously planted pine trees at this site. Within 10 years, a young mixed forest will emerge on this location.
