Belarusian Ministry of Transport took part in the 13th Meeting of SCO Ministers of Transport

The meeting was held in Bishkek and chaired by Kyrgyz Minister of Transport and Communications Talantbek Soltoboev. Belarusian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Sergei Dubina.

Key topics included the implementation of previously adopted initiatives in transport cooperation, as well as an exchange of views on further joint work between the transport agencies of SCO member states. The ministers also discussed the concept of creating a unified SCO digital platform for managing multimodal land freight transport.

As part of the event, Sergey Dubina held bilateral meetings with the Deputy Ministers of Transport of the Kyrgyz Republic and China.

◽️Following the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the digitalization of permits for international road transport was signed. The Regulation on the Special Working Group for the Development of Cooperation in Transport among SCO Member States was also adopted.
