Border rail service between Belarus and Russia, a "Union State goods"—what was discussed at the Union State Council of Ministers meeting in Moscow

Minister of Transport and Communications Alexei Lyakhnovich participated in the event as part of Belarusian government delegation.
There are 14 issues on the agenda, including:
- Key areas for implementing the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of the Union State
- Results of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia
- Granting the status of "Union State goods" to products of Belarusian and Russian manufacturers
- Establishment of the Union State Standardization and Quality Committee
◽️ Particular attention is being paid to the launch of rail passenger service between the border areas of Belarus and Russia. Ensuring unimpeded transport links and accessibility of tourism infrastructure and services for citizens of the Union State is identified as a key objective.
