Alexey Lyakhnovich met with Murmansk Region Governor Andrey Chibis

Options for transporting cargo through Murmansk's port infrastructure were discussed today at a meeting between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and the head of Russian region.

Detailed discussions of cooperation in transport and logistics continued at talks at Belarusian Railways headquarters. The focus was on harnessing the potential of the Northern Sea Route.

The event was attended by Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev, Head of Belarusian Railways Valery Verenich, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the republic's main exporters – concern “Belneftekhim”, Belaruskali and Belarusian Potash Company, and logistics operator “Beltamozhservice”.
