An annual conference, supported by the Ministry of Transport and Belarusian Railways, has begun at BelSUT.
In his welcoming address, the Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus noted the urgency of transport security: "In 2024, the All-Belarusian People's Assembly approved the Concept of National Security. This fundamental document assigns a key role to issues of the country's economic, scientific, and technological security, the solution of which is entrusted, among other things, to the transport sector."
According to Alexey Lyakhnovich, the conference serves as an effective platform for dialogue, where representatives of government agencies, science, and the real economy have the opportunity to develop important solutions on issues related to the development of the transport sector and ensuring transport safety. The minister wished the conference participants fruitful work and significant practical results.
The event is attended by approximately 400 scientists and specialists in transport and construction from Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and China, both in person and online.
