Road workers are tidying up the areas along the highways and also updating the amenities and structural parts of the transport arteries.
Thus, this spring it is planned to carry out the following types and volumes of preparatory work:
- washing, cleaning, and anti-corrosion treatment of barriers (2,803 km) and guardrails (472 km);
- replacement and painting of the backs of road sign shields (14,266 units);
- cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment of road sign posts (368,488 units);
- installation and painting of signal posts (129,841 units);
- installation and painting of signal posts (129,841 units);
- road shoulder profiling (26,514 km);
- gravel and crushed stone surface profiling (29,963 km);
- gravel and crushed stone surface profiling (29,963 km);
- repair, painting, and maintenance of bus shelters (8,953 units);
- repair and installation of benches (3,389 units) and garbage bins (3,599 units).
5,701 km of road markings will also be applied.
Quality control of the work performed is carried out by technical supervision of RUE "Beldorcenter".
