In 2024, the workshop was held in Grodno region, among the participants were representatives of regional road construction companies. 

The program of the two-day event included:

• learning the technical equipment of the organizations DEU No. 55 (Lida district) and DEU No. 52 (Volkovysk) for carrying out pothole repairs in winter, as well as working and rest conditions for employees.
• inspection and assessment of sections of national highways where reconstruction and preparation for winter have been completed: M-6 Minsk – Grodno, R-51 Ostrino – Shchuchin – Volkovysk, R-50 Mosty – Zelva – Ruzhany, R-99 Baranovichi – Volkovysk – Pogranichny – Grodno.
• visit to the site where repairs are being carried out - the bridge across the Neman in Volkovysk.

Road workers studied the experience of their Grodno colleagues in eliminating road surface defects and using metal and concrete barriers on roads. The demonstration of equipment for clearing roads of snow was followed with intense interest.

The agenda of the planar part of the workshop includes current topics of winter maintenance of national roads:

Prospects for the application of cold recycling technology on the roads of Belarus using cement.

Implementation of methods for testing asphalt concrete mixtures based on foreign experience.

Developing a unified approach to the use of materials for road marking.

Control over the passage of heavy vehicles on public roads and interaction of road owners (road enterprises) with the Transport Inspectorate.

Intelligent transport system and its participation in winter maintenance of national roads.

The organizer of the national workshop is the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
