Two months of round-the-clock work: vehicular traffic on the Independence Avenue bridge in Minsk has been restored in record time

Work on the site began on July 6, 2026. Road crews and restoration specialists completed the project in record time. Among those working on the site were road construction companies under the Ministry of Transport, including OJSC “Mostostroy”.
For two months, more than fifty specialists worked around the clock. The road surface has been renewed, and load-bearing structures, arches, and superstructures have been reinforced; an additional load-bearing element has been installed beneath the reinforced concrete barrier. The bridge's load-bearing capacity now meets modern standards. Work on the pedestrian section is ongoing.
Sergey Rubchenya, Director of the "Bridge Construction Directorate No. 2", branch of OJSC "Mostostroy," noted:
"We completed the bridge on a tight schedule. Highly experienced professionals worked around the clock, day and night, to make it a celebration: ensuring a smooth commute to school and work by September 1st."
