Belarusian Railway has begun transporting the 2026 sugar beet harvest

Mass transportation of root crops by rail is carried out from September to December. Maximum volumes are planned for November - up to 370 railway cars per day.
Loading will be carried out from 23 railway stations for delivery to OJSC “Gorodeya Sugar Combine”, OJSC “Zhabinka Sugar Plant”, and OJSC “Slutsk Sugar Refinery”.
The beet transportation schedule has been drawn up taking into account cultivation and storage practices, as well as the capacities of processing facilities.
