Tuesday, 11 August 2026
This year has been a busy one for the student brigades of Belarusian State University of Transport and Belarusian State Academy of Aviation. The students are working in various parts of the country and even abroad.
BelSUT students actively participate in the student brigade movement. The key project of this summer is the “Vector” construction team named after Hero of the Soviet Union Galina Dokutovich. 20 members went to Yakutia, where they work at JSC “AK Railways of Yakutia” as track workers, performing important tasks in maintaining and repairing railway tracks in permafrost conditions.
Aviation academy cadets have also actively joined the summer work program. Members of the “Helicopter” detachment, named after Hero of the Soviet Union Larisa Rozanova, are working in the catering department at Minsk National Airport, preparing meals for passengers. They perform a variety of tasks, such as assisting in the sorting center, packing finished products into branded packaging, and preparing vegetable etc.
Student brigades offer an opportunity not only to gain initial work experience but also to acquit oneself and learn how to work in a team.
