The motor ship is a single-deck vessel with a capacity of 50 people and belongs to OJSC “Belsudoproekt”.
When carrying out modernization, approaches were taken into account that had not previously been used in Belarus. Thus, for the first time, a water-jet propelling machinery is used on a passenger ship, which makes it possible to reduce the draft and increase its maneuverability.
"Thanks to its 220-horsepower engine, the motor ship can reach speeds of 15 km/h. Particular attention has been paid to navigational safety. Radio-controlled floodlights are installed on the roof of the wheelhouse to ensure uninterrupted navigation at night. The motor ship is equipped with automatic electric pumps that will automatically drain water from the holds in the event of an emergency. The engine room is equipped with an aerosol fire extinguishing system," noted OJSC “Belsudoproekt”.
The vessel's modernization was carried out within the framework of the "Inland Waterway and Sea Transport" subprogram of the state program "Transport Complex" for 2021-2025.
