The Victory Train arrived in Brest: exactly 85 years ago, this Belarusian city was the first to bear the brunt of the Nazi invaders

On June 22 – the day the Great Patriotic War began – the mobile museum will be located in the city on the Bug River, where the battles began in summer 1941.
The train includes 10 exhibition railway cars, one of which is dedicated to the defense of Brest Fortress. Today, the first to visit this unique museum were young participants in the cultural and educational project "Train of Memory."
From Brest, the "Victory Train" will depart for Baranovichi, then travel to cities across Belarus. Residents of Grodno, Gomel, Mogilev, Vitebsk, and Minsk will be able to see it.
The "Victory Train" is a social project in both Russia and Belarus. In our country, it is being implemented for the fifth time with the support of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Belarus and the active assistance of the Republican Volunteer Center.
