Belarusian Railway delegation took part in the Meeting of Ministers of the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OCR)

The 53th session of the OCR Ministerial Conference took place in Dushanbe. The event was attended by heads and representatives of government agencies overseeing railway transport and railway companies from 21 OCR member countries. The Belarusian delegation was led by Valery Verenich, Head of  Belarusian Railway.

Current issues of railway transport operation were considered, and decisions were made on priority areas of OCR work:

  • development of a coordinated transport policy, including in terms of developing the established system of 13 railway transport corridors
  • updating and improving the regulatory framework for organizing freight and passenger transportation in international traffic
  • development of human resources and professional training

The OCR Activity Report for 2025 and the Work Program for 2027 and subsequent years were approved.
