A delegation from the Department of Aviation of the Ministry of Transport of Belarus took part in a meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation of the ICAO regions

A meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regions was held in Castellaneta, Italy. The Belarusian delegation was led by Alexander Apet, Deputy Director of the Department of Aviation.
The agenda includes issues related to the development of regional and international cooperation, the exchange of best practices, the expansion of air routes, and the sustainable development of the civil aviation sector.
The event included talks between Belarusian aviation authorities, ICAO Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar, and ICAO Regional Director for Europe and the North Atlantic, Nicolas Rallo.
The parties discussed current issues of cooperation, including the Republic of Belarus's position on the problematic issues of the country's aviation industry in the current context.
