Facing summer school holidays, Belarusian Railways traditionally carried out preventative measures aimed at preventing child injuries and minor deaths on railway transport.
Through the joint efforts of railway workers and law enforcement, 417 raids were conducted at over 200 railway infrastructure facilities (stations and terminals). Thirty minors found wearing headphones and talking on mobile phones on the tracks were given educational talks.
Over 500 meetings with schoolchildren on railway safety regulations were also held, with approximately 36,000 children participating.
