On June 4, 2026, Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 180 “On measures to develop international road freight transport”

The document provides for an extension of the Decree of April 17, 2025, No. 155, and an exemption from the payment of the recycling fee in 2026 for new (no more than 3 years from the date of manufacture) trucks of environmental class 5 and above, trailers and semi-trailers imported into Belarus.
The decree aims to create additional conditions for Belarusian road transport companies to upgrade their fleet of vehicles to be competitive on the international market.
The proposed preferences will increase the export of transport services and will contribute to the development of the export-oriented segment of the country's economy.
Decree No. 180 comes into force after its official publication.
