In accordance with the instructions of the Head of State and the Government, the Ministry of Transport is currently focused on repairs and improving the quality of work performed, the First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications noted at a national workshop on road maintenance.

Grigory Glazko:
"The five-year quality plan calls for a range of measures aimed at creating and maintaining a comfortable, safe, and modern living environment. It requires us to undertake a comprehensive transformation aimed at increasing economic efficiency, optimizing production processes, and achieving high standards of quality of life. Therefore, the road industry today faces complex challenges that must be discussed in the format of the production and technical workshop."

As noted during the workshop, the State Control Committee is currently recording positive trends in road construction. Specifically, there is an annual increase in road and bridge repair and construction volumes, the use of improved cement concrete technologies, the reconstruction of key transit routes, and the improvement of road surfaces in agricultural settlements.
