A draft amendment to the Customs Union's technical regulations "On the safety of wheeled vehicles" has been submitted for public discussion (ТR US 018/2011)

The document provides for:
- introduction of an emergency call system in a vehicle;
- additional requirements for vehicles operating in conditions down to minus 60 degrees (insulation, pre-heaters, winter tires).
Standards for buses transporting children aged 1.5 to 16 have also been updated: speed limiters up to 60 km/h, special seats with ISOFIX mounts, signal buttons, and identification paintwork. A distinction has been made between situations in which changes are considered new vehicle manufacturing (replacing the frame, body, or supporting structure) and standard changes that do not require complex expert assessment.
