This year, Belarus plans to build 27 kilometers of roads with cement concrete covering

We are talking about sections of the R-53 highway from Zhodino to Borisov and the M-10 from Rechitsa in the direction of Kalinkovichi.
"The volume of cement concrete covering installation is increasing. While cement concrete was laid on 60 km of national highways between 2021 and 2025, the State Roads of Belarus program plans to lay 175 km by 2030—almost three times more than was completed in the previous five-year period," said Leonid Zenkevich, Head of the Ministry of Transport's Road Development Department.
In addition to new construction and reconstruction, cement concrete covering is now used in major repairs of first-category roads: a 24 cm thick layer of cement concrete is laid on top of the asphalt.
In 2025, these approaches were implemented during the major overhaul of the M-4 Minsk-Mogilev highway at the exit from the capital. Next in line are the busiest sections of the R-28, M-6, R-1, and R-23 within Minsk Second Ring Road.
