The meeting of the Standing Commission on Road Safety under the Council of Ministers was held under the chairmanship of Alexander Terekhov

Along with assessing the quality of implementation of previous instructions, the meeting addressed the implementation of Presidential Decree No. 295, adopted in August 2025, which clarified the rules for the use of personal mobility devices and bicycles, and also considered issues related to improving road safety on the main national highways.
Following the event, the Ministry of Transport was instructed
- develop additional measures to avoid road accidents related to driver fatigue and sleep at the wheel
- continue to implement effective measures to prevent road accidents involving wild animals and car accidents involving driving into oncoming traffic.
