Belarusian Railways took part in a multilateral meeting of railways on the organization of freight transportation via the land route to Armenia via Azerbaijan

The event was organized on the initiative of CJSC “South Caucasus Railways” and CJSC “Azerbaijan Railways” with the participation of railways of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Uzbekistan.
The following issues are on the agenda:
- organizing joint work to create conditions for product deliveries to Armenia via the land route
- coordinating rail transportation
- formation of competitive tariffs
- developing optimal logistics solutions
Belarusian side has expressed its readiness to actively participate in the development of rail transportation. Belarusian Railways is systematically working with Belarusian shippers and exporters to inform them of the transport and logistics capabilities of this route.
