The event brought together more than 80 experts from member states of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (ISC), representatives of railways, railway equipment manufacturers, and industry researchers.
As noted, the ISC remains an indispensable tool for developing consolidated decisions in technical regulation, and standardization is the foundation of technological sovereignty in the 1520 gauge area. The development and implementation of modern regulatory requirements enables the use of equipment and technologies at the level of best global practices.
Particular attention is paid to the key task for the near future – the standardization of high-speed rail transport facilities.
Over the past five years, ITC 524 "Railway Transport" has developed and updated 82 interstate standards, including 16 new GOSTs in 2025 alone. In total, the committee has approved 377 interstate standards (including 197 technical specifications, 101 requirements, 68 test methods, and 11 energy standards).
