Today, Vitebsk Avtodor held a ceremony to mark the well-deserved retirement of its longtime director. The company was founded 28 years ago, on April 30, 1998, and Adam Konoplich led it for the same amount of time.
In his welcoming address, the Minister said:
"Your professional path exemplifies dedication to your chosen cause and your country. Your many years of experience and managerial wisdom have enabled you to build a close-knit team capable of solving the most complex production challenges. But most importantly, by your example, you have instilled a love of the profession in the younger generation of road workers."
Adam Konoplich holds the honorary titles of "Honorable Transport Engineer" and "Honorable Road Engineer of Belarus" and was awarded the medal "For Labor Merit".
First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Grigory Glazko introduced the new director, Leonid Baturo, to the team, wished him success in his new position, and encouraged him to address the challenges facing the enterprise.
