After winter, roads will be fully prepared for summer use no later than May 9

Leonid Zenkevich, Head of the Department for the Development of Highways of the Main Directorate of Highways of the Ministry of Transport, also spoke about reconstruction plans:
"All regional centers are connected to Minsk by Category I roads, with the exception of Vitebsk. Therefore, reconstruction of the M3 highway is ongoing, currently on the section from Pleshchenitsy to Lepel. Furthermore, reconstruction of the P46 highway from Lepel to Polotsk is underway. Last year, a major overhaul of this road from Polotsk to the border with the Russian Federation was completed. Thus, a promising transport corridor is being formed towards the port infrastructure of Leningrad Region."
Road inspections and diagnostics are conducted twice a year, and repairs are scheduled based on the results. "Since the start of the current winter period, twice as much winter road maintenance has already been completed as during the same period last winter," noted Leonid Zenkevich.
◽️By early May, road workers plan to eliminate seasonal potholes on the roads as much as possible, paint road surfaces, clear debris, and apply road markings.
