The Ministry of Transport informs international road carriers about changes to the vehicle insurance requirements for entry into Azerbaijan

According to information from the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belarus, the procedure for issuing insurance contracts at border checkpoints of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be suspended for owners of vehicles registered outside of Azerbaijan and who do not have a Green Card international motor insurance certificate, starting in October 2025.
From the above-mentioned date, insurance for vehicle owners, logistics companies, and international transportation companies operating in foreign countries will be available through a pre-concluded agreement with insurance companies in Azerbaijan on the official online platform (https://www.tpl.az/)
