A delegation from Belarusian Ministry of Transport, headed by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Sergei Dubina, is taking part in the 42nd ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) Assembly meeting in Montreal, Canada.
In his speech, Sergei Dubina noted that discriminatory bans on the use of airspace for civil aircraft flights and the denial of information to ensure continued airworthiness, air navigation, and ground services negatively impact both flight safety and the sustainable development of global civil aviation.
The Republic of Belarus called on ICAO member states to take all possible actions to prevent countries from using politicized discriminatory restrictive measures in international civil aviation.
