In order to improve the quality of passenger service and ensure advance travel planning, Belarusian Railways, together with Russian Railways, has decided to increase the period for advance sale of travel documents for international trains on Belarus-Russia-Belarus routes from 60 to 90 days before train departure, since October 1, 2025.
We remind you that when individual passengers travel in compartment cars and two-berth sleepers of all trains (trailer cars), the fare is calculated using the dynamic fare management and demand stimulation system (hereinafter referred to as DFMDSS).
DFMDSS is a system that adjusts fares based on train occupancy (its percentage of capacity) and the ticket sales period (the number of days before the train's departure). As the carriage occupancy rate increases, the fare gradually increases. Occupancy factors are recalculated online each time a ticket is issued or refunded.
The system will enable passengers to obtain travel documents with a discount of up to 25% when planning their trip in advance.
