Belarusian Railway Administration took part in a meeting of the Conference of General Directors of OSJD Railways

The event took place in Warsaw and brought together representatives from 23 railways and affiliated enterprises of the Organization for Cooperation between Railways (OSJD). Belarusian Railway delegation was led by Alexander Khoroshevich, First Deputy Head of Belarusian Railway.

The agenda of the 39th meeting of the Conference included:

Reporting the Organization's work.
Discussion of issues related to the development of international freight and passenger transportation in the Eurasian region.
Tasks to deepen cooperation in information technology and infrastructure development.
Improving the regulatory framework to enhance the competitiveness of rail transport.

At the Plenary Session, Belarusian Railways addressed representatives of the railway administrations of Lithuania (in absentia), Latvia and Poland with a proposal to resume direct passenger services Belarus – Lithuania, Belarus – Latvia, and Belarus – Poland.
