Negotiations between the transport agencies of both countries took place at Belarusian Ministry of Transport. The main topic of the meeting was expanding cooperation in air transport.
Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Sergei Dubina, and Iranian delegation was led by Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development and President of the Civil Aviation Authority of Iran Hossein Pourfarzaneh.
The meeting was attended by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus, Alireza Sanei.
Following the negotiations, a protocol of intent was signed. The parties also agreed to complete the domestic procedures necessary for signing the Airworthiness Agreement.
