Belarus and Russia's Sverdlovsk Region discussed prospects for cooperation in road management

Transport-related issues were raised at a meeting of the Business Cooperation Council of Sverdlovsk Region and Belarus, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Viktor Karankevich.
The parties discussed in detail their common interests in the road sector at a meeting between First Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus Grigory Glazko and Minister of Transport and Road Management of Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Tolkachev at the Ministry of Transport.
The negotiations were attended by Belarusian road organizations involved in scientific research, design, construction, repair, and maintenance of highways.
During the visit, Russian delegation inspected reconstruction and roadside service facilities on the first ring road around Minsk, M-2 highway leading from the capital to the National Airport, R-80 Sloboda-Papernya and R-58 Minsk-Kalachi-Myadel highways.
