Last year, this volume of transportation was reached on Belarusian distributor in December. It should be noted that export-import transportation accounts for more than 60% of the total volume of transportation on Belarusian Railway.

The growth of container transportation became possible thanks to the joint work of the railway  administration with cargo owners, ministries and establishements of the republic to build new logistics routes and reorient cargo flows in the context of changing sales markets.

Belarusian Railways is taking the necessary measures to create sustainable trade links for the supply of goods to Russia, Asian countries and China, both via land routes and using port infrastructure.

Belarusian Railway has created conditions for the development of transportation within the framework of the international North-South transport corridor, which is a key element of the transport frame of Eurasia and connects with most transport corridors used for international transportation of goods in Eurasian traffic, ensuring the shortest distances for the transportation of goods between the EAEU countries and South Asia, East Africa and the Middle East.

In order to promote Belarusian products to foreign markets, Belarusian Railways provides services for the delivery of export cargo from domestic enterprises to Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, India, Iran and the countries of the “far arc”.
